Ridge Global CEO Tom Ridge, the first U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security and former governor of Pennsylvania, has joined the advisory board of the Canada Institute, a leading program of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
“The United States has a strong friend in Canada,” said Secretary Ridge. “In an interconnected world, matters such as energy, border security, trade and the environment are issues of common interest to the security and prosperity of our two countries as well as our engagement with the rest of the world. I look forward to working with my fellow advisory board members to advance the Canada-U.S. partnership in the years ahead.”
The Canada Institute works with leaders in business, government and academia to discuss and explore key issues concerning Canada and Canada-U.S. relations.
